It is difficult to end a relationship, but dealing with the ramifications of a 'BAD BOYFRIEND' can leave you feeling lost. Changing the air around you is the best way to get rid of negativity. Mixing yourself with positive people, indulging your mind into something creative or into any field of interest other than relationships (temporarily) can be successful trials to overcoming such depression.
Getting caught up in sadness due to break up & feeling pity upon the broken pieces of your self-esteem is very easy, but thinking yourself to be in a better place by preventing someone's negativity to ruin your life, is a positive attitude towards a healthy mind.
Here are few ways to get over your negative relationship:
1. Cut off contact with the negative boyfriend. This means a NO to phone calls, sms or any modes of communication with the concerned person.
2. Talk to a professional therapist if you are having difficulty getting over your ex-boyfriend. Therapist can help you put things in perspective and work on regaining your self-esteem.
3. Take on activities that you enjoy and that get you out of your confined cage.
4. Set a time limit for your grief over the relationship. This can be anywhere from two days to one month, but make sure that at the end of that time you make an effort to let go of the past, learn your lessons and move forward with your life. Begin dating other people at this time if you feel ready.

If you are still thinking to get back to his life and let him ruin your life just because you love him (and he doesn't even deserve to be loved by you) then you are the biggest loser!! This is unconventional to write it over here but this is a fact.
Move on in life because life is full of surprises! You never know, your best buddy who is with you during this time of difficulty can be the one for you!
And if he tries to stop you in abusive or unpleasant ways then just report it to the police rather than going into street fights involving your friends.
