It is believed that in the year 30 B.C. the Roman troops crucified Jesus Christ on this day. However, Jesus has shown his power over death by rising from the ashes after being crucified and buried for 3 days. This has been the ray of hope for the Christians for over 25000 years. People who have witnessed those days claimed to have had touched Jesus, had food with Him for about 40 days. Historians believe this to the most interesting fact that inscriptions, almost undoubtedly prove presence of Christ after death.

But, few people do not believe in life after death and similarly consider the Reincarnation of Jesus to be just a story of religious hopes that grew over time. They think death to just be an end to their ego and physical entities. Though the believer's of God still trust the resurrection of Christ and they believe that if crucifixion can bring back their Almighty, then they can also have a start from the point of their death.

No one in today's world can fully prove the resurrection to be true or false, however man lives in hope and this is  something which has been the eternal sunshine for almost every human heart. Long live Jesus.

Duplicate World Cup for India??

The Indian cricket players can't seem to put it down it but the World Cup 2011 trophy they have with them is actually just a replica as the original is still lying with the customs.

"The original is lying with the Customs," said a BCCI sources without elaborating.

When contacted Customs sources, however, said the Cup was with them for non-payment of duty of 35 per cent of the original value.

"We will release it after payment of 35 per cent customs duty after its valuation," they told PTI.

The Cup, meanwhile, has been in the forefront of the celebrations by the entire Indian nation with players even posing with it along with President Pratibha Patil at the Raj Bhavan yesterday.

The captain of the winning team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been photographed and caught on television cameras carrying the replica to the iconic Gateway of India opposite the team hotel yesterday.

Man of the Tournament, Yuvraj Singh, has been kissing the replica repeatedly in delight.

TRP peaks during World Cup Final!!

India and Sri Lanka cricket World Cup final smashed all previous records for television viewership with 67.6 million viewers watching it for more than four hours, rating agency Audience Measurement and Analytics Ltd (aMap) claimed on Sunday. The match got ratings of 13.7, which is the highest for any event so far and when the winning moment arrived, the ratings peaked to 21.44, the rating agency said in a release. 

An inspired India last night regained the coveted World Cup after 28 years as they suppressed Sri Lanka with a six-wicket victory in a nerve-wrecking final played at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. 

Advertisers can celebrate along with Team India. Viewer-ship increased almost 4 times yesterday. Until the quarterfinals, India's matches had an average rating of 3.7. Quarterfinals saw it increase to 5, semifinals 11 and yesterday's big win made it 13.6. This is not only with famous television channels, the viewer-ship of AddiQtd also increased by 8% within 6 hours from the time India won the cup.

INDIA WINS THE WORLD CUP 2011

An extraordinary match between India and Sri Lanka at Mumbai. Starting off with poor run rate, Sri Lanka turned the face of the game during the last 5 overs when they scored more than 60 runs and gave India a tough target of 275 runs. 


During the second innings, the fall of V. Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar at the beginning increased pressure upon the players as well as the crowd. But, an awesome partnership by Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir made the country hopeful. Later, the Indian captain M.S. Dhoni stabilized the run rate with Gambhir followed by Yuvraj Singh. 


Gambhir's wicket was painful as he was just 3 runs away from his Century! However, he still remains the hero for his remarkable innings that held India's score up. 


Remarkable was the moment when the Indian captain hit the ball for a huge 6 and let India keep home the much awaited World Cup.

All round performance by Yuvraj Singh sparkled the crowd in Bangalore. India sealed the victory over Ireland in their third match by 5 wickets. 5 scalps plus unbeaten 50 by Yuvraj Singh was the first man in world cup history to perform this feat.India defeated Netherlands on sluggish track of Feroz Shah Kotla on 9th March, India won with 81 balls to spare, which is their fifth-best in terms of balls remaining, in a World Cup match, now they are focusing on next big match against South Africa at Nagpur on Saturday. India lost their first match in World Cup 2011 by 3 wickets, although their first two partnerships shared 267 runs to the total of 296 but India can't continue this rhythm and for 29 runs, they lost their 9 wickets in 9 overs. South Africa accomplished their task in last over while lost of 3 wickets. MS Dhoni blasted his batsmen for poor performance. Subsequently, India met West Indies in the last league match of the tournament and won the match by 80 runs, with Yuvraj Singh sparkling once again with a brilliant century. The icing on the cake came when India beat Australia in the quarter-final match by 5 wickets at Motera, Ahmedabad. It was Yuvraj Singh once again to the rescue when they needed 74 runs from 75 balls, chasing 260. Yuvraj Singh was awarded the 'Man of the Match', his fourth award in the 2011 World Cup.This win also ended a glorious era of Australian dominance in the World Cup. In a high profile semi-final attended by the prime ministers of both countries, India played Pakistan and beat them by 29 runs. Setting a target of 261, India bowled out Pakistan with a ball to spare. Tendulkar was awarded man of the match for his 85 runs. In the final match, Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first. With the help of century by Jayawardhane, Sri Lanka posted a total of 274.

April Fools' Day is celebrated all around the world on the April 1 of every year. Sometimes referred to as All Fools' Day, April 1 is not a national holiday, but is widely recognized and celebrated as a day where everyone plays all kinds of jokes and foolishness. The day is marked by the commission of good humoured or funny jokes, hoaxes, and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, teachers, neighbors, work associates, etc.
