Just imagine, the person sitting next to you is having the DNA of Jesus Christ!
Shocked? Well, don't be my friend.
There has been much controversy regarding the relationship Jesus had with his disciple Mary Magdalene. Since the late 6th century, Mary Magdalene has been recognized a repentant prostitute. This originated from a sermon by Pope Gregory The Great. She had been identified as a notable sinner - being possessed by seven demons that were exorcised by Jesus.
However the movie The Da Vinci Code & few other books in the recent years have questioned Mary's relationship with Jesus. The painting of Leonardo Da Vinci of Jesus's last supper shows a feminine image beside Jesus. People believe the Holy Grail was not a magic cup, it was Mary herself. The Holy Grail has always been considered as a cup; now if we look at the shape of the cup, it forms a V shape which can be related to a woman's womb.
However, historians reject this explanation, as they believe, if there was anything like that, the fact wouldn't have been kept a secret because Jews marriage was not a subject to hide from the world. The greatest mystery lies in the belief - after Jesus's death Mary Magdalene gave birth to Jesus's offspring & there were forces who contributed their lives in protecting Jesus's bloodline over centuries.
Another very important point to be noted was - when Christ was crucified, other women disciples were standing at a distance & weeping in fear & pain. Mary unlikely, sat on her knees in front of the place where Jesus was crucified. Historians believe people saw Mary weeping like a widow for Jesus. Surprisingly, no one knows what exactly happened to Magdalene after that.
Jesus Christ was God or just a human being with extraordinary powers - this is controversial. But the mystery about Mary Magdalene still leaves us with the question, "is Jesus's royal blood still alive?". If so, he / she could be anywhere in Europe or might have traveled to some other part of the world. It could be someone who resides next to you - or it could be You!!
