My friend David was 19 when he cut his hand for the girl he had fallen for. I am 25 now, and Patricia is my girlfriend. Confused? Well, don't be.

6 years back, my friend David was dating Christina, a sexy teenager from NYC. David's father was a gold merchant. He was kind of the 'Richie Rich' type! Christina had a blast, dating with my friend; because David used to spend an average of 500$ a day after his girlfriend.
Don't get me wrong - Christina was indeed a nice person and she cared about David, specially when he used to get his allowance at the beginning of the month. :) Jokes apart - 4 years back, David's father had an accident and lost a leg. He handed over his trade to his cousin ( David's uncle) and guess what, David began to face tough times. That was the first time he had to reason his expenses.
2 years later, I got a job at the New York Times. Life gave me a chance to try my luck on the girl, I had fallen for 6 years back. It was Patricia. With the development of brain cells over the years, Patricia managed to act like a matured young lady; bright and careerist but humble enough to accept that she loves me not for my money but for the person in me.
David, my friend is in state of shock after his father's retirement from life - Mr. Peterson died of heart attack when he found his son behind the bars, being caught in a major drug deal. David's uncle however managed to get him to a rehabilitation centre for treatment.

I miss my friend, my girlfriend misses him too - at times when I refuse to get her costly jewelleries.
I am 25 now, and Patricia Rivas is my girlfriend. Christina is her last name!!

Avoiding Intimacy!!

Teenage pregnancy is a reality. We are living in a world where it is still believed that boys can be sexually aggressive and it is the duty of the girls to resist sexual advances. Teens are exposed to an environment where drugs, violence, sex, money and peer pressures are an ever-present force that affects both their behavior and perception of life. Today's teens are more protected and sheltered from the consequences of their behavior than ever before.

Abstinence is the most effective contraceptive. Teenagers should learn to show affection and love in many of the non-sexual expressions and not involve in sexual activity. Pressurizing or forcing anyone into sexual intercourse is not acceptable. It does not show love or respect. It only shows how selfish, exploitative and disrespectful the person is. Teenagers should avoid high-risk situations like being alone in someone else's house or car. Youngsters should learn to say, "There is no doubt that I love you. But I am not ready for the kind of intimacy you are expecting. If you really love me, respect my feelings." A true friend would definitely respect their feelings

Axl Rose [William Bruce Rose] - today's AddiQt!!

W. Axl Rose (born William Bruce Rose; February 6, 1962) is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses.

As the lead singer for Guns N' Roses, Rose enjoyed tremendous success, recognition, and record and concert ticket sales in the late 1980s and early 1990s before dropping out of the public eye for several years. In 2001, he resurfaced with a new line-up of Guns N' Roses in the third edition of Rock In Rio festival, and has since played periodic concert tours, finally releasing the long delayed album Chinese Democracy in 2008. This album was recorded over many years before finally being released.

As a child Rose took domestic violence for granted as his mother was ill treated by his step father L. Bailey. He believed Bailey to be his biological father but later wished not to use his surname which intended him to change his name from William Bailey Rose to W Axl Rose (W is legal, not an abbreviation, as Rose didnt want to share his first name with his biologicl father).

Axl has been arrested more than 30 times due to public offenses especially caused due to his drinking habits. Over dosage of drugs within his band the Guns n Roses made the band to fall. However, GnR is still remebered as one of the best bands ever known. Axl's journey from singing in a church choir at a tender age to Chinese Democracy at 46 is full of adventure. Once in Los Angeles, Rose began performing with various local bands, including Rapidfire, Rose, L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose. While struggling to make an impact on the Hollywood music scene, Rose held down a variety of jobs, including the position of night manager at the Tower Records location on Sunset Boulevard. In an attempt to earn money, Rose and Stradlin even smoked cigarettes for a scientific study at UCLA for the reported wages of $8/hour.

Heart Breaks in this Valentine's Season

Most everyone has had to go through the pain of having a relationship end. Its not easy, however human brains are designed in a way which favours forgetting pains as the world grows older. This Valentine's Day was a lovely evening to some; a passionate night to few; an adventure to many and a terrible dream to MOST!! Why?? Because, many singles think this day to be a lonely one as their best buddies stay busy with their respective partners; and many people realize their BIG MISTAKES and return to their friends! Well, this was not sarcastic. Its fact.

Well friends, we cannot deny the truth that this love season is also a season of breakups. This doesnot mean people wait for 14th Feb to say goodbye, but literally, love gives you pain; so we can in a way call this a break up season too. But here's a message to all the people who have lost their love - its time to move on!! Its not easy but not impossible. Being a bit stony, no one dies for anyone, and at times its good to be practical and realize the basic facts of life. If your love has left you, that can be two things - 1. God saved you, 2. God saved your 'so-called LOVE'.
Guys you never know the person sitting beside you in a cafe, or standing next to you in a queue, or your friend whom you have taken for granted - may be the one for you. Life brings us many surprises and with a broken heart you are more likely to get pleasant surprises in the near future!!! So cheers to your broken heart!! :)
